     Shiner Heritage Quilters presents: "The Supper Quilt" exhibit - a showing of Dr. Don Locke's
     monumental quilt modeled on Leonardo Da Vinci's famous work, "The Last Supper".
     This quilt contains 51,816 one-half inch fabric squares and is 15.3 feet wide and 5.5 feet high.

March 26 & 27, 2010 - 29th Annual Azalea Quilt Show - With Heart and Hand
     The Quilters' Guild of East Texas produces a quilt show every spring during the Azalea Trail.
     Each show features 250 quilts on display, vendors, demonstrations, quilt appraisals, an
     old-fashioned bed-turning, door prizes, scissor sharpening, silent auction, quilt sales, and
     a raffle quilt whose proceeds benefit local charities that serve women and children.
     
Hours - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday & Saturday
     Admission: $6 adults, $5 seniors & children
     Location: Harvey Convention Center - 2000 W Front St (Hwy 31 W), Tyler, TX
     Show Entry Form: Quilts, Garments; Quilt Sale Release Form available on website

May 1, 2010 (Saturday only) - Airing of the Quilts
     Tall Pines Quilt Guild - Huntsville, TX, Courthouse Square
     
Quilts will be on display from 9 a.m until 4 p.m.; Free admission;
     Quilts are displayed outside around the Courthouse Square on 11th St., 12th St.,
          University and Sam Houston Avenues
     
A free viewer's guide has information on all the quilts as well as the layout of the Airing area;
     Rain or shine the show will go on - We'll move quilts into the Courthouse and other available
