Click here to move to quilts shown at the July 13 meeting. First are the Show 'n Tell quilts. Then are some of the quilts presented by Connie S. Silber during her "Harmonious Quilts" program.
Photos from May 11 Show and Tell and Alice Wilhoit's presentation are below. See www.alicewilhoit.com for more information on Alice's work. The process of Show and Tell moves too quickly now for us to keep track of which quilt is whose. If you want me to add information about a specific quilt photo, send it, please.
Above, right, Sue S.'s "Construction Zone." Below, "Camp Lone Star" presented by Alice L. and Diane.

6/21 - Kerry D. was kind to send us photos from the Quilters' Day Out, held May 29 at the St. Joseph Community Center, the June 8 Show 'n Tell, and the Cotton Theory lecture by Jane Parker. More information about the Cotton Theory by Jane Parker of Spring, TX, may be found at www.janejustjane.com. As you can tell from the first two photos, the Quilters' Day Out provided a welcome activity for many that Saturday. Left, was "Pixie's Quilt."
Again, you are reminded that the process of Show and Tell moves too quickly now for us to keep track of which quilt is whose. If you want me to add information about a specific photo, send it, please.
What a great table runner (right) to use! It would be especially nice during the Memorial Day and July Fourth holidays.

Below are photos which Connie S. Silber presented to illustrate points in her "Harmonious Quilts" program. The first one, below, was her own first attempt in competition; she told us that not even one good comment was made by the judges. Now that she is a judge, we know that helped her be fair and kind to all of the quilters whose work she judges.
Connie showed several examples of variations on "Log Cabins."
Connie discussed variations in color, design, and style, among several other creativity encouragements.
Right is Connie's impression of Monet; below, she presented some examples of the quilts to be made in her workshops.
